All I’m saying is that if you get $X transferred into your paypal account, they can (and did) refuse to let it move out, such as to your bank account. So, yeah, they take the balance in the PP account, first, presumably.

Paypal's stock tanked the first weekend after this update was rolled out, and they quickly walked it back only to sneak it back in two weeks later.
I'll stick to the "Go woke, got broke" model that I've been trying to follow by voting with my money!
It took me a week to cancel PayPal, they had a daily excuse while they constantly flashed this banner in front of me:

The latest news I have seen is they plan to roll out the CBDC in 2024, if that happens, we are all doomed, never in history has a government had a surveillance system such as this in place and not used it for nefarious purposes. Don't take my word for it do your own research, my suggestion is do it now not later.
