Related, anybody seem to have lost the friends and family option? I just went to buy something last night and was surprised to find no option for friends and family. I was standing in front of the guy basically wanted to do paypal instead of cash and was pretty pissed that it was not an option.

Happened to me a couple times. PayPal randomly selects transactions to review before they release the funds. Nothing you can do but wait. Very annoying.

Pretty sure the person is a scammer. They sent me back the money then sent me a link to paypal donation with a different name tell me that its better to use that link. lol Anyway this is the page you should probably stay away from:
