ski is back home in the garage as of today.

When I dropped off the ski - I paid Flash a $300 deposit...Mom contacted the him and paid the balance and had him deliver it to her house on Christmas Eve.

On Christmas Day - she handed me a hammer and said "please take this out and put it on the workbench..." I didn't understand what was so important about taking a hammer out to the garage.

well - I was totally surprised to open the garage door and find my painted ski in there! I had to take it back to him this morning for a final "cut & buff" since he didn't have time to do it before he delivered it.

I've only been into skis for a few years - but Mom has always refused to buy anything that has to do with a ski...so this was a complete surprise!

Since I got home today, I've mounted the pole, run throttle, steering, & trim cables. Installed the pump, waterbox and pissers.

I'm waiting on a few deliveries before I can continue. Next package arrives from McMaster on Monday - so probably no progress until then.

she tode my she emailed you to figger out if I could actually get it done in time for Daytona.

based on today's progress....I could be done by Monday...if UPS would get here quicker. :biggrin:

I got my check from UPS today because they delayed one of my packages by over a week due to them sending it from dallas, to Penn, then back to houston. When they admitted it should of went from dallas straight to houston. I called and just ripped em as much as I could without cussing. if you cuss they can hang up.. if you dont then they can not hangup on you.
50 Bucks CHA CHING!!

Joel - I got an extra bedroom if you need it. :biggrin:

I've gotten both carbs cleaned and rebuilt with all new internals. assembled cases & cradles. Tomorrow will hit the cylinder with a light clean-up and get the pistons installed, install B-pipe manifold and intake manifold.

just talked to Blowsion - my stuff is on it's way back today!

so when that box comes in - I'll really have to get busy...
