I wouldn't use a hump on the PFP pipe. You don't want gases going anywhere else. That changes how the chamber works.

take it from me - i have tried MANY different types / styles of couplers and have had them ALL fail.
higher the ply count does not always mean better... coming down to the actual material of this hose.
Napa 644 is the ONLY way to go. it has yet to fail me. i did replace the coupler at the beginning of the season for peace of mind on my new build.

Ya couplers and fuel lines I like to change every year. Even if they look fine.
