Pfp pads whose using just one in middle?

Just wondering if anyone has had a problem running just one pad down the middle.

I ran mine with one pad and one strap right up the middle for over a year, continuing with the new ski the same way this year

Did u ever have it pop off it is my plan in my fvpro. Just wondered how many others run it that way. I'll have straps on both sides

Never ever had it move, ever. I pressure checked it on a normal basis because we both know their going rate for breaking. Not one issue ever. Josh likes to tell me if it aint broke dont fix it.

Zzylstra's did worked perfectly like he mentioned. Mine on the other hand, even with 2 blocks and straps, popped off In 2 days. My alignment was off a tad and the screw type clamps on manifold side backed off completely once prior to it completely popping off. My engine vibrates more than normal and is able too loosen and unscrew hose clamps. Perfect alignment & T-bolt clamps is the ticket on mine.

Just curious but why do you only want to run one pad?

Just to save some space and I've seen a couple others that have never had a problem running just one pad in the middle. So I figured I would get opinions
