I thought they came pretty much ready to rip, but have read up little bits here and there about guys restricting certain lines to adjust exp chamber temps etc...

Any takers? I'm really curious to hear how the adjustments are helping, and how much help the changes are producing.

Thanks in advance!

I had to dry mine out quite a bit to get it hot enough. Mcdog's damn near melts the gas tank but it hits like a freight train. I'm still experimenting though.

i never touched my pipe and wish i had, i just pulled the chamber a few nights ago and it full of water, not drying out anywhere near as much as it should

Correct me if I'm wrong but if you want the pipe hotter you would want to restrict the dump fitting on the end of the pipe. In which would create more pressure that would want to go thru the flow valve and into the water box so you would want to significantly reduce the jet size to dry it out but keep the outside of the pipe cool enough to have under hood temps down

That's what I do, it's a dry pipe the waters in the jacket, I use a t handle valve before my pisser. I also run single cooling so the water is preheated before the pipe and have had amazing results. That's why I've had to increase the tension in the fcv aswell to keep my water box temp where I want it.

T the two lines coming off the head together. The other pisser is from the distal end of stinger.

I bought a used PFP. Where is the 120 jet located? Don't think mine came with one???

Mine's a 140... But have no clue on waterbox temp yet. I think I'm going to just get a few jets and go for it. May as well have a few to adjust for different water temps maybe? Our water temps vary from between 40 and 80 throughout the year.

Jace Forest...BRAP!
I switched mine up and ran 2 water lines into the head(reverse cooling) and a third water line which runs to the chamber. I have a hose clamp on the line going to the chamber which I can tighten down to restrict water. I also have a hose clamp on the line coming off the chamber that goes over board to restrict it also to warm the chamber up.

I noticed it runs better with the water box hottest, just below sizziling and the chamber a little cooler than the water box but still warm
