PFP Water Routing Help

Need some experienced advice from some one if possible.

DASA 1100cc - PFP Dry pipe _ PFP waterbox.

The waterbox is sizzling hot after 5 mins at half throttle, seems to be a lock of water cooling it. Water routing attached. all compnents are free from blockages, all flow valves removed.

Check that the filter isn't clogged or that the flow valve is opened. I found my box was hot and melted the turf off...flow valve was closed. opened it up partially and now no issues

Have you ran it on the trailer with the hood open and verified water is making it to the stinger?

No blockages, water makes it all the way through, just seem to flow according to 2.5mm jet. but definitely not spraying out of the stinger. just flowing according to pressure.

Without redo-ing all the water routing.......You will need to put some restrictors in the 2 locations I have highlighted...use a small piece of a stock fuel line. inserted into the water line. in each place I highlighted......at the moment you have a free flow situation which does not pressurize the area before the 2.5 mm main jet, .....to force more water through that jet means you should restrict the out flow on the other Y joints.

Cheers, good advice, a few other peeps said similar, so that's the next plan of atttack!

1st i would try
use 1/2 input line for the y fitting not the 3/8 line
make sure you have the larger 1/4p threaded 1/2 barbed fitting at the pump
try upping the stinger jet some

found this issue with the waterbox mod, it reduces the amount of cooling inside the box. Trying to fin a 1/2 inch to 3/8 Y piece has been impossible, do they exist?

The lack of water means we need more water, faster, so the water pressure and jet size should solve this.

Cool, cheers. Problems fixed, adding some fuel line increased the back pressure, now it just needs to some fine tuning so the flow valve can function properly. Never had to worry about water pressure on the old 61x!
