Phantom hull

Is there a big difference between the Trendsetter and Twangled Backie Chan Hulls.

I have a Twangled, got it used, but it's pretty clear that the craftsmanship and quality control were terrible. It's a few years old so can't say if that's still the case, I've only seen pictures of the trendsetterz but they look WAY nicer in the pictures.

You either have a twangled weighing in at 120# bare, sub par quality, from what I understand stay together. Or Trendsetterz, 50-80#, much nicer quality, and if it ain’t cracked around the pole bracket it’s good for more years of abuse. I like some others had a trendsetterz Chan that was bulletproof. I would buy it back if I had the chance

I am surprised all the bad publicity TWANGLED receives I owned a Havoc hybrid that weighed 72 pounds when I picked it up and have known others that have had Backie Chans none of us ever had any issues. I was at a surf ride in Kenosha WI. earlier this year and there was a Havoc their that actually glowed in the dark. Some said it was the owner of Twangled that had the ski it was pretty cool watching him ride it at night he pulled off allot tricks.
