Ride report? We all know how a chan rides how does this compare. Are you going to buy one?i rode it a bunch of times.
Agree although I keep bashing my knee into the side dash of the chan when I roll. This could make that worse or maybe better.Footholds look farther forward then on the chan, am i correct? That was the one thing i did not like on the chan
was how far back the footholds were and looks like this hull fixed it! Looks good!
i'd have to say its an updated/improved chan. its still stable and rides however you want depending on the length of the rideplate. i'd put a longer plate on it for boat chasing and hack it off flush for flatwater. motor placement is farther forward than the chan i was used to so maybe thats why it didnt seem to rotate flips as fast. i always compensated for the fast rotation buy not yanking on the bars and going for straight up height. that way you get big air and dont over rotate. it does slide better than the chan when you whip back around to hit your setup wake, but with the plate hacked off and the ass still very low in the water, it doesnt just wash out. josh said it slid a lot better with the long plate. i like to ride/make my setup wake very slow and hit it slow, letting the power of the motor do the work. smaller motors and you may need added speed to pop you up and around. no more intricate/costly/rare front hood pin system, normal style rideplate and more room up front for waterbox and pipe clearances.A Ride report?
