Been waiting awhile to do this and have some free time to catch up on the computer side of things so I'll be writing a few reviews. i purchased a php 771 (I think it's a 771)
From a local buddy who bought everything new from Zach he ended up never using it and parting out his ski complete.
I've tried this motor in a combination of 3 different hulls 3 different pipes and 4 different pumps.
Php 4mil 771 4mil
Php intake
Vf3 reeds
Stock 46sbns
RRP carbon pipe
Torrent 148
I've always heard people say good things about these engines and there's no b.s to that. With the rrp pipe this thing had so much bottom end snap it was unbelievable but would lose a little from mid range to top. I adjusted some things with the water to the pipe and go it to run awesome all around. I can honestly say I have countless hours trying different combos on this package. This motor is truly an awesome package.
We made our own chamber a few months back. I feel that the current wetpipes out on market are too large for smaller cc Motors.
We put our composite chamber on this setup and it worked awesome. It had a softer bottom and came alive from mid to top. I was so happy with how it worked in the surf i didn't touch the Jets and know it has more left on the bottom.
My buddy was next to me on his sit down that tops out at 58 and he couldn't catch me.
On to the next one
I built a ski for a customer with the same engine.
New php 771 4mil
Stock 46s
Vf3
Powerfactor pipe
Solas 144
This was another setup that ran great right from the beginning. The pump setup was actually spot on and the powerfactor would really good aswell. i really love this motor package it's a perfect all around setup without having to deal with the issues of powervalves and aftermarket cylinders. The crank is the expensive part but Zach has fast turnaround time and fully rebuilds them. All in all its a great package and Zach was awesome to deal with. I would definitely recommend this motor to anyone.
