PHP 898

Selling a PHP 898 that was the bees knees when it was built. It has the lightweight crank light, weight pistons, PHP intake manifold, vforce 2 reeds, race gas and av gas domes. The last season this engine was used Zach had just put a new crank in it said everything else looks good. This engine was fogged and then put on the shelf for a few years now. Nothing was wrong with it just decided to go bigger. It was only run in fresh water. After the rebuild this motor was not run very much it's normally hard for me to use 15 gallons of race gas a year in my freestyle skis. Asking $2700.

Is it? Does anyone know what bore it is currently on? Condition of crank, piston clearance? Pictures of top crown of piston? Why no pictures in exhaust ports? Could include pictures of case I take also to see crank....

I bet the seller could answer all those questions and take more pictures upon request. To answer some of them now stock bore, almost brand new crank, Zach said everything in there looked good when replacing the crank, and if your interested and want more pictures ask.

4 mil stroke....I was getting at least two michigan seasons out of my 898s with about (150-200 gallons per year). Super reliable

Is it 89mm bore then? Could these be bored to 94mm to make them 1021?

89mm…I believe the max is 91mm. Honda CR500 pistons
