We got to test out Zack's latest build this Sunday and what an animal! The build details are:

Brand new Rickter FR 2 EVO (glass heavy hull)
RRP cast pole and steering
Maxx 148 pump with trim
PHP 898 4 mil stroker with lightweight crank
Novi 48's
Powerfactor pipe and box
MSD total loss
Thrust tank

Anything I'm forgetting just ask...

So the ski complete weighs right around 340lbs......its a tank! It is built to be Zack's surf ski but we wanted to see if it was possible to flatwater flip it because we had been told by some people that it was not possible with a 900.....looks like we proved em wrong!

Zack was out there for about two minutes on his first ride of the ski and hopped into a 180 and bam!! Right around on a backie!! Then a few setup wake hits and he was nosing them in.

Then he wanted me to try(ski is less then 10 minutes old and he wants my 240 lb ass to go beat his ski) I tell you guys Zack is an awesome friend!:) After 30 seconds on the ski I throw it into a setup wake and right over to a nose in flip.....this surprised the hell out of me!!! I have never ridden a surf Rickter and it feels long as hell compared to the circus and hurricane I have been riding all year.

After a little more time on the ski I hit one big plate to plate flip which wasn't caught on pics.....it was raining and 42 degrees most of the day. But Zack snagged one pic of me at the end of the day just to prove that we actually flipped a 340 lb surf boat!

Powerhouse does it again!!!:)

Awesome job on the build Zack, looks killer eh!

Pretty impressive to see the fr2 evo flat water flip, that thing is going to be a blast in the surf.

That must have been one knarly 760... We talked to Taylor Curtis at wave days about flat water flipping his fr2 with his 8mm dasa 950 and said it wouldn't do it. Ours pulls like an animal and its still tough to do. Chris, that thrust tank is the way to go for a PF equiped ski! Its going to be awesome to have 5 gallons in the surf.

Stoked you like it and the flip top looks so much better! Give me a call later lets catch up.

Nice work Chris!!! We will be building another one with one of our 726 motors..... The challenge is now on!!! Lol

Sounds good, it's a flip off....with the smallest engine lol

wow this motor must rip..that is a very large heavy ski.whats the setup on comp, timing, fuel, assuming pipe setup is wet?

I believe it is around 200 compression setup for av gas, timing I'm not positive on, and pretty sure its standard dry pipe setup.

Zack can elaborate on specific details...
