Surfriding PHP Rickter FR-2 Evo build

Here is our latest build for Trevor, another one of the shop masterminds.

Its a Rickter FR 2 Evo glass hull with a 736 ported 61x/61x with 185 lb compression, SRE 48 mm carbs, Powerfactor pipe and Epic ignition. More details will be posted as we get to test.

Cool build. I'm interested on how the dual 48s and the PFP pipe works with 61x cases. I don't think I have seen that before. I'm sure zach/PHP will have it dialed. Be sure to report on performance or post videos when y'all thaw out up there.

Why PFP with just a 735?

I have a 781 in my rocket n I assumed a PFP would be too much for current setup

Granted I'm running oem 38s, but those will be upgraded soon to 44s or 46s

what intake was it to run 48's on there?

I believe it was a R&D intake

Yep, ported R&D. They are great 61x manifolds because they transition from the round carb hole perfectly into the square reed opening. We paired it up with a set of boyesen dual stage reeds and ported cases. Should make a great free ride setup. With the programmable ignition the dry pipe will be a gain all the way through powerband.

Reason I was excited to see results is because I have a pfp that will be going on a stock 701 or 760 in my new hull and had a lot of people tell me it would be "counter productive" on a smaller setup, but recently I have seen a lot more similar setups along with people having great things to say about the combo
