Pics at the end - Fourth Of July Freeride at the Oregon Coast

I am trying to drum up some people for this. Location is not decided. We will be in the Lincoln City / Pacific City area.
There are a couple of great ride spots there.
My personal favorite is the Salmon River Estuary, but it is hard to access without water transportation - i.e., bad for bringing family unless you got couches as shuttles.
The beach at Tierra Del Mar in Pacific city will probably be best for a family oriented freeride. Drive-On beach, town close-by.

My family and Snackem & Wife will be there pretty much all weekend.
We will be getting there on the 3rd (Thursday) or 4th (morning) and not leave until Monday, or possibly Tuesday.
We will probably ride every day for at least an hour or two, but we would like to plan a one day (or 2?) family freeride with a turnout.

So....anyone interested?

About 1.5 hour from the coast, or 1/2 hour south of Salem.

why not Matt? It will be summer, small waves, the only swells are caused by the wind and if you don't venture out to the back set you should be able to ride close-in all day.

Remember watching JK rip the close-in sets practicing his re entrys and surf slashes?

He made riding close in look so fun

I don't know conditions at Ocean Shores, either.

I agree with ya on the close riding.
Remember Randy ripping it up last year? I almost got run over by him a couple times. :biggthumpup:
