Just because I don't believe Sneaky has ever been out ocean riding.
I don't know conditions at Ocean Shores, either.

Correct, never been, and definatly wouldn't go alone. think i'll enjoy the lake for this summer. :Banane01:

i was just curious :clown:

Swanny's got a good point, though...summer surf is small, and you can stay very close to shore.
Unless you're riding in Long Beach. :soapbox:

Ahhhh a surf virgin-

makes more sense now. Ya wait till ya get some rides in with others. Once you do you will not want to ride flat water again.

Matt- Ya I remember those flyin perpendicular WOT runs from RL. Glad you missed him lol

Ocean Shores has got to be about the same as Long Beach no?

Matt- you should hit up the spit in PC one day while you are there. At least a morning ride. The break across the mouth of the Nestucca on the south side is my favorite spot on the Oregon coast. Perfect rollers spaced so evenly apart I get super bummed when its time to stop.

It's a bit further north. I've ridden at Westport (also north of LB) and the beach there dropped off quickly enough.
Ocean shores is only a few miles further north.
Long Beach is freakin' shallow half a mile out it seems. Very annoying.

If you've never ridden in the surf I think that the best spot would be the Salmon River. The waves are normally small at the mouth of the river and they get larger the further south you go from the cove/river. You should definitely come and ride with us. It'll be a lot of fun.

Changed my beach house reservation to a Condo with DIRECT beach access out the back door.

My buddy Jeremy (Snackem) has a beach house there for him & crew to stay in.
It's easier to stay in the same town, especially considering there is only one trailer.
PC isn't a far drive, and it will only happen one or two days.

First time I've seen this on the X. New job keeps me busy so less online time. I've been watching the thread over on PWCtoday. It does sound tempting.
