lol....that depends

first off...Rule #1 of surfriding: NEVER LET GO

otherwise you and your boat will get worked, hopefully it doesnt end up upside down sinking....

you and your riding buddies must always keep an eye on each other......the most common solution though is for someone to come by you, you grab their leg and they drag you to your boat

Be careful with people's knees too. I remember in daytona when Joe B was towing me in and his tow line kept snapping (it was old/dry rot) he wouldn't tow me holding onto his leg. You can dislocate someone's knee with a quickness. I recommend holding onto someone's shoulder or around their waist so you don't rip their leg off. Especially in big surf.:wiggle:

Insane pics, rightous surf, damn i wish it was easier to get skis across the Atlantic.

Got any videos of that particular day Fred-o?

when you loose your ski the best place to hang onto your buddie's ski when he pulls you over to it, is the rear footstrap...pretty much the only time you should ever tow someone in with a rope is when you are far away from where you launched (not strait into the beach). it is very dangerous to try to attach a rope to the front of the ski when its big( you can smash your hand or head very easy between the two skis)...all you have to do is hang onto the bars and the white water will push you in even if its really big..you can pretty much surf a wave in with a dead engine if you just kick/paddle yourself into the wave...also when your totally swamped you cant really tow someone anyways
