otherwise you and your boat will get worked, hopefully it doesnt end up upside down sinking....
you and your riding buddies must always keep an eye on each other......the most common solution though is for someone to come by you, you grab their leg and they drag you to your boat
Be careful with people's knees too. I remember in daytona when Joe B was towing me in and his tow line kept snapping (it was old/dry rot) he wouldn't tow me holding onto his leg. You can dislocate someone's knee with a quickness. I recommend holding onto someone's shoulder or around their waist so you don't rip their leg off. Especially in big surf.:wiggle:

haha one time my buddy had to scavenge the beach for a few hours and finally found some drip line to tow me back the 3miles...not fun..
