Thanks....I really don't know much about cameras or photography, got lucky with a bunch of shots. It's an older Nikon D5000. I was using a Nikon 55-300mm lens from a decent distance away. The camera takes some great shots all I did was point it

Those are great shots from a small frame camera. I have a D5000 and I don't get anywhere near that crispness in my photos. I'm assuming your 50-300 is a Nikor/Nikon lens?

swap: yes, Nikkor VR AF-S. Had it on continuous shooting mode so I didn't have to time the shots too much. Just some minor cropping and a small bump in exposure setting on a few of them. Hope to learn enough on the rest of the settings to not have to do any post shot editing. Just starting to get into it after taking the camera to the Brigantine Ride. Josh bridges showed me a couple of things and help set it up a bit better for me.

That looks pretty slick. Looks like Hagest also redesigned his chin pad. Any pics of the top of the pole with pad? Any idea what the price is? I really like how you don't have to remove the pole bolt to put it on.

I don't have any other pics but I did see the chinpad in person and it is slick. I like the simplicity of it and the oval tubes. Adjustment is smooth not like on my RRP. I believe the $1250 is with chinpad and the steering is more $

dude told me $1400 for bars and everything. it only fits the SXR. its too wide for the SJ pole crown.

The one at the finals was SXR but an SJ model is forth coming shortly. Pretty simple change. Weight of full length pole,chinpad,steering and bars is 12.15lbs. for those that are interested.
