Silly question however, just installed duals in the same location. I can remove the siphon line on the pump now right? Do I need to plug the hole on the pump housing? Planned on using the siphon tube for my trim system.

I zip tied my siphon tubes up high as a temporary holdover until I can properly remove the stock bilge. For my leak like a siv hull I installed 2 tsunami 500's under the midshaft as previously seen and anytime my hood goes under they pump for like 10 seconds, I basically can't do a fountain. My bilge ports exit the side of the hull near the bulkhead for strenght. The PO had the bilge lines exiting about 2" above the rubrail :shocked1:

I always run two 500s with a bracket and a thumb switch on the bars. Buy the bracket, epoxy to the base is unrealiable and you may end up with a bilge pump bouncing off of your motor from a hard landing. I am getting ready to put my stock siphon bilge back in for extra drainage. You dont need to block off the area on the pump. Bilges are great and they fail, scuppers are great and they fail. I am thinking about investing in a couple of little knomes with little buckets for drainage.

I actually used a carbon bracket I created and then drilled pilot holes through the bottom of the hull and used rivets from the bottom up and then lightly sanded them and put a dab of epoxy on each. No issues there with bouncing around. Additionally I wired in a status light to let me know if there is a failure on the pumps. I just wasn't sure if the hole in the pump should be closed off due to sucking additional water in. Thanks for the response though.

I drilled and tapped mounting holes in a piece of stainless plate, installed the baskets and ground the screws down flush on the bottom. Then I epoxied the whole lot to the bottom of the hull. If I ever need to replace a broken basket/strainer, I will just unscrew the stainless pan head screws and replace the basket.

I just ordered a 3-way switch and I am looking for help on how to wire it up to my single rule bilge. Can you help me out?
I just ran one 500 GPH Tsunami, kept the stock bilge system and use the 5 min epoxy to put it in. Never liked 5200 them in for some reason. Just stick and ride a few hours later with the quick epoxy.

I'm having good luck with my 615freeride 3 way switch, but dont think I'll run 2 pumps.

I've seen them on each side of the midshaft abunch.

Do you want to wire it through your ebox or directly to your battery?
I think it's cleaner to wire it through the ebox, can you explain how to do it that way?

My old bilge was wired through the ebox so I alredy have my wires coming out the ebox I just dont know how to wire it

it looks like you have disconnects on your cooling lines. Can you explain?
