Pipe dream (Yamaha LS2000)

Anyone know how hard it is to find Yamaha GP1200 triple pipes? Or even just a nice AM pipe?

I have this mint Yamaha LS2000 I rebuilt and fixed up. I am just thinking down the road what it would be like to crank it up from this current 270HP (Twin 135HP 1200 non PV).

A couple of MSD's? Pipes? Props?

How about a good heavy cast AM pipe like the 701 Protec.....Keep the noise down and better than stock?

I'm not saying it's a good idea (it clearly isn't), but I'm saying you NEED 6 pipes, six NOVI's, two zeeltronics, and a lot of porting on this boat.

Do the RIGHT thing.

Gp1200r pipes are normally forsale for 500-750 in last 5 years. Well that was before Covid. Today people ask more but I doubt they get it.

A LOT of room in the LS2000 engine bay though! And I can simply hoist them out.

I just can't imagine this thing with another 80HP....or more!???

Man I don't know about that! This is my 4th boat and I have never had one so simple in design and so fun to rip!

Papa Lundy has a early 00ish triple gp1200 I think with some triple pipes that thing is nasty. Old race ski with all the goodies I believe it has total loss too. Sounds incredible too
