hit or miss. chances are it'll be pretty big... there will be somebody out there for sure, you might have to drive down to the first(grand ave) entrance in the mornings though, thats where the locals the people not camping ride...

I've only ridden Pismo once before, a couple years ago on my SN, so I'm pumped to get my new RN out there.

I haven't ridden big surf (over say 5 feet) before, but I'm looking forward to it!
I have surfed some so I can read the ocean pretty good. For me it seems to be a lot easier to deal with the waves on a ski than on a board.
I'm comfortable catching air in a variety of sports so I want to go big.

how much diff are the air temps and water temps in winter than summer around pismo. id imagine not much with the gulf stream that close

it just depends..it like 80deg right now...but it changes allot sometimes...can be cold one week and warm the next...water temp changes probably like 8-10deg...summer the weather is usually crap..it gets super foggy
