pitted cyl head can I use it still?

it depends how bad it is. if it's not too bad you can lightly sand down the high points. The high points can heat up and cause pre detenation. arn't the domes removeable?

pretty sure those come out. i had a similar Pro design COOL HEAD. I wouldnt run that head on anything i cared much about without changing the domes first. there cheap enough.

I would say thats trash, A machine shop may be able to machine them to a different (Lower) compression to save it. I'm not sure though.

put two old plugs in the holes, turn it up side down, and knock the plug heads on a block of wood, the domes shoudl pope right out.

this is the highly technical way that I have always done it.

that dome is trashed too, get another one.

a couple of different heads use those same domes, I MIGHT have some depending on what cc you need.

Oh heck I get to use my favorite tool (hammer) :) ........going out to try that highly technical method now

don't need nothing to fancy its just a play around ski with std cyl bore so don't want to high of compression for my use
