300/440/550 PLEASE HELP!!! 300sx

Hello,

This is my first jetski ever, I picked up a Kawi 300sx online and had it shipped, I was told everything was there but the wiring had been fried. I figured I could just fix the burnt parts and have a running ski. Please help, it seems that I do not have any electrical at all. Also, I believe that my generator coil is toast, as I have no coating on the copper whatsoever. Motor reads 160psi, is this good or bad? See the pictures below. Im begging for someone to help me out with getting some electrical cheap, I got screwed once and would like to make this work please!

Welcome to the site. 160psi is good. Another story may be your carb after you fix your electrical issues. Is yours an actual js300sx? Isn't the sx model the shorter and wider hull? I'd do some research on that before you go buying parts. You can have the HIN number ran at a local kawi dealer. I'm not very informative on kawasaki skis. Good luck, I know I didn't help much
 
Looks like that part may work. Also looks like the wiring from the engine to the CDI box is fried also. You might want to try and find a new stator. Another option may be a 440 or 550 engine swap. Not sure the compatability of the hull to a larger engine but parts for the larger engine should be a lot easier to find. Good luck.

That is a "js" hull. I would thought up the $250 and get a nice running 550. It should be a direct bolt in besides the ebox. You may have to make a bracket
 
I have a stator for a 300 lmk if your interested

300 lmk? What is lmk? Sorry... me being new, I havent caught on. If it would work and replace mine, I would for sure be interested!

Thanks for the information the the E-box I posted! I will purchase tonight unless anyone chimes in saying I shouldnt.
 
Alright first off, thank you to everyone that responded. In the end this is what I did, got home from work last night, did an all of craigslist search and found a posting out in Lancaster, CA for 300 parts. Called him and he shipped the entire electical system minus the ignition on/off start switches on the handle bars, with shipping inculded for $200 bucks.

Now I know this next question defeats the purpose of making this 300 engine work again but anyways. How come jet ski stuff is so expensive it seems? I have flipped 6-7 snowmobiles, 5 atvs, couple of dirt bikes, mopeds, etc. As far as parts go, these are expensive. I was looking at motors for fun and seem to find a 650sx engine for $600 bucks complete, I can pick up a Polaris indy 500 (snowmobile engine) for 300 bucks complete, even on ebay. Just odd to me.

listed for 250
but Canada is probably to far for ya

That isn't a 300sx for one.is there anywiring coming out of the hand pole at all? Looks like a lot of work to save the 300 I'm with everyone else on some kinda swap.basicly by the time buy all the stuff to fix that electrical system and all the other problems u could pick up a swap. For just a few more bucks probably
