Sure does not sound like a reed problem, if it were it would run like crap down low but good mid to top.
2 things come to mind once you stated it does not happen on the trailer. Stator is one and fuel pump is another and this is only assuming you have a good coil and CDI.
If the filter stays full then its most likeley not your preasure valve or a leaking line anywhere (CHECK THE PULSE LINES VERY CLOSE).
If it only happens on landing or something like that then check your exhaust system (especially the waterbox for loose parts).
first pulse line, remove it / them and inspect fully.
then stator, remove it and ohm test all wires while wiggling each one to check for breaks in wires
waterbox remove and shake dont stir
fuel pumps, remove and inspect fully and have a rebuild kit handy
Make sure your PRIMER LINE is in the return fuel line not the feeder line, they can cause vaccum and cause this very issue. also check them for cracks and pinholes.
Check the incoming fuel line for slight blockage, shoot air through them from the carb side back towards tank.
hope something here gets ya going.
I went through a frusteratingly painful issue like this before , changed EVERYTHING, then one day Toby says check your waterbox and BAM $1500 in new un needed parts later I had a busted baffle in the WB clogging the exhoust but only when in the water and playing on it, NEVER ON TRLR EVEN UNDER A LOAD. drove me nuts for 2 mos. ended up with lots of good spare parts in the end though.
