Please help save my local lake

Hey everyone! My local lake (Lake Texoma) is extremely low due to the excessive hydro generation. There are only a couple usable boat ramps on the whole lake, if they keep generating in this manner we wont have much of a lake to ride in, not only that, but so many local business rely on the lake, including my pwc/boat repair shop. I get a lot of out of town customers during the summer due to the lake. There is also over 30 marina on Lake Texoma, so imagine how many people they employ. There is a petition to change Lake Texoma from a flood control lake to a recreational lake. These laws were made 70 years ago, back when the lake was built and they are outdated.

I'm signature 2318. Good luck. I can relate. All of our lakes haven been severely depleted the last few years because of demand from water right owners. We just got a 1000 year flood at the end of last summer so I may be able to ride full lakes this summer. but next year I'll be in the same boat as you.....

Signed...Had a dream that they banned jetskis from my local lake. Also had one that I drove my car threw it. And one that It became bone dry. More like nightmares really. lol

We have been in the same boat for years here in my area (Keystone Heights, FL) with the lakes drying up. Just signed the petition so good luck.
