I"m a diehard kawasaki guy and I'm always down to help give advice but the X2 is 1 of the few vintage kawasaki's I've never owned
This site is very well run by Superjett and it's team of mods are pretty fair.
I think pwctoday has tons more info and more racing coverage but has gone down hill. I really don't have the extra time I use to to keep up with different sites. I just spend more time riding than wrenching or reading.

PWCtoday will fail to evolve because of the freestyle movement. Racing is still huge, and racing events bring tons of people, but a lot of those people arent forum members/contributors. However, PWCtoday is a great vintage resource. And as long as they dont get hacked again by the chinese, itll stay that way hahahaha.

I hate everyone equally jk ,that being said I have a kawai based ski and have had soo much help here from a ton of meme bets started on a 550 to a 650 ,Sxr ,and now a q8 which I bought off of this very forum . Matt jones jet fiend never satisfied Roseand a ton of guys on here have helped me with searches finding killer deals heck even sending me stuff just to help ,along with pics to help with my builds . I haven't had any issues with mods . I personally have no complaints . X-2 guys are x-2 guys it's what they like . There choice and I support them because it's a piece of history and its part of our sport . I'm done .

I consider my ski an x2 that actually handles, and will run 5 gallons of gas through it without sinking/blowing up/or needing the hood open on he beach to keep it running.

But hey I'm just a Yamaha snob who's pile of junk seems to run every time I get the green button.

Me, me, me!!! My wife and I both have Superjets and I just picked up two X2 hulls, but I'm not exactly sure what I'm going to do with them yet (and that's for a different thread anyway).

I feel like I explained it fairly well in our PMs, but to reiterate: the thread was not about same sex marriage any more, it was about racial discrimination which is a whole other subject. The thread had run it's course and gone completely off topic from the original subject, so I locked it (notice it was not deleted). There were a few posts deleted that were very inappropriate that you don't see now because we kept an eye on it and caught them quickly, that was done to keep the thread on topic and NOT LOCK IT. We kept it on topic as long as possible, no infractions were given out, it was a good discussion.

If you want to discuss this more, start a new thread please but I feel I've explained it the best I can.

The racial discrimination part of the conversation was completely in context with the subject. Go back and read it. Besides, why is getting off topic a reason to lock a thread? I know I can't see the posts you deleted that were inappropriate, but it seems like deleting them and perhaps warning the offender would take care of that problem.

I understand that provoking a moderator can be amusing, and it could result in the thread being locked, which would probably be good supporting evidence of your point. However, I care a lot about the x2 and would prefer to not watch this thread crash and burn.

Personally, I think that if you are willing to build 2, you should be one with a stock 650 motor, keep all stock electronics mounting, good dry airbox, call it old reliable.

Then build the second one into a monsters. Modified 750/800, beefed up 701, 1100.

Once you get the second one all flexed out, throw a few 650 and other x2 specific parts on old reliable.

His 1100 has that issue . It literally fills up the way he did it he didn't run a water box and made it exit through the left rear . Not my personal style . It's loud to like really loud . He's gonna re do it this winter btw he says it hits 70 and it doesn't .

He did warn one of them. Me. I took offense to a comment and openly said so. Was I wrong for saying what I said? Yes. Do I wish I had not said it? No. It pissed me off. I am human.
