Custom/Hybrid Polaris Foot Rocket Build

My old prop was getting pretty worn, so switched to a new 17/25 Polaris prop that I cut back and it's instant backie machine again!
Hopefully putting a Power Factor Pipe on it before the end of the season...

My otter box for the TL finally took more beatings than it could handle and the hinge broke... They don't make those boxes any more, so I got a pelican case and ended up with this for my MSD enclosure... $18 on Amazon.

A couple spider cracks in the gel coat on the hull around the rear corners for the hood and down the hood as well, but nothing structural and I've really beat on this for the past two years.

I like to see fellow Polaris builds, I've been running a 1000cc Polaris now for 6 years (it's in it's fourth hull) , I just switched out my pfp for a RRP pipe and I am very pleased . I've also found the 49 full spectrums to be my favorites too

My pfp chamber is hitting the hull and still only close to seating on the manifold properly... Hopefully my tig machine gets fixed soon, then I'll be more comfortable with taking a hammer to the chamber...

Custom... I think Erik had drawn up Dasa bases in CAD a while ago, and he took that and stretched the bolt holes out to match these cylinders. You could contact him if you'd like some, since he's making me another pair, the more the merrier!...

Well this got done early October I think. I had to massage both the pipe and gas tank and had a friend mill down the stator housing and cover to make just enough room for the gas tank.
Only other thing I changed was bumping the rev limiter from 7750 to 8000. First ride, doing flat water flips the way I do, engine was hitting the rev limiter about half a second before the intake left the water, which didn't happen before. Bent the prop from 13/24 to 14/26 and got rid of that, but I still think I'm spinning it, so I'm still tweaking the pump.
Also put a new trim ring on and welded the edges of the nozzle to keep the flow going where I want it.

And welded the sides of my grate so it fits the pump intake perfect...

14/26 and you still want steeper... dang man i think its time for a bigger pump. that motor must be making a ton of power!
