The above listing has the following compatibility list. I can't vouch for it's accuracy but it's a start.

Used stator off of a running Polaris fresh water ski, it's in good used condition.

Apparently there were two different stators with matching flywheels. You need to use a matching pair otherwise your timing could be advanced really far or retarded. So if you buy a matching set from a running ski, you'd be good. Otherwise, just scour the microfiches looking for the same part number stator.

some of the flywheel and stators pre 2002 were " high start " which had about a 10 degree advance on them. most Elecs after 2003 were standard. The subsequent model year stators tend to last longer than the pre 2002.
 
mine is an 03 which gets about 5 min of ride time every year lol. but its also running 230 compression, 110 octane, lightweight flywheel, and a few other goodies. so if it did advance it 10 degrees it should handle it. Thanks so much for the help gents
