watcon might have some but he told me he was just going to machine my domes for pump gas. Also I have herd of some guys using the domes out of the 1200 motors.

cut 20 thou off some stock 1200 domes off a Polaris triple PWC.

asking this question again, if you cut 20 of a pair of 1200domes what octane do u need to use then? 93AKI...?

If you deck .020" off your stock #122 (same as runabout) domes you will have approx 155Lbs cranking compression. Thats the maximum for 92 Octane pump gas. Its not like a Superjet that will allow up to 180 psi. The stock domes arent as good as the aftermarket domes from Polaris racing & R&D. Hotseat also has some.
I have a few used sets of "limited" pump gas domes for sale at $50.00 each. They will accellerate better than the remachined stock domes. I have some higher comp domes (105 Octane) available also.
