Pole length

im about to pick up a krash kavinci pole for my foot-rocket build and was wondering what a good length would be to start at when im shortening it, ski will be used for flat water and occasional surf

My guess would be your going to have to cut the tubes, I wanna say somewhere around 36-38 inches pivot to pivot if I remember correctly

Pole bolt to center of steering pivot. It's the most common way to reference pole length.
