Pole repair

Hi so I went riding yesterday and I broke my pole. It's a Superjet sn and I was going to repair this to hold me over for the rest of the season. I was thinking about shortening it while I am fixing it. So my question is there any suggestions of how much I should shorten it and what I need to pick up to fix the (glass material). Yes Ik it would be easier to buy a new one but I'm trying to be on the water by Sunday . Thanks

Invest in a limiting rope.
Umm..Cut the broken part straight off, drill some holes for the pole bolt and go ride for the weekend. Then buy a new pole. The bottom is reinforced from the factory... So you'd really need to bulk that area up if you wanted to actually have a lasting repair. And you'll need epoxy resin and preferably biaxial glass cloth. Someone could ship out a pole USPS priority today and you'd for sure have it by Saturday dude. Better off doing that. They can be cheap too

I say junk that thing now, and dont try to repair it. Your just asking for it to break and have a bad accident(and a waste of time repairing BS). Do like just mentioned, run a RN pole and conversion bracket or find a alum pole. SN Superjet poles are junk just like the Kawi 750/800 poles.

x2. don't waster ur time repairing that. On a good day you can find an Aluminun SN pole as well for pretty cheap.

Well it doesn't seem like I'll be getting a new pole for Sunday since there are no poles around me for sale but I would like to do the rn conversion over the winter. It broke when I was doing a powerslife sideways but I'll be getting a pole limit rope. Im going to get glass stuff to fix it today what do I need to get as for the epoxy and weight and fiberglass to make it hold up?

I've been in your shoes and know how badly you want to ride. That being said, fixing that pole will just be a waste of time and money that could be easily spent on a RN pole. The swap is not hard at all, in fact it's less work than repairing that broken pole will be. If you're looking to bandaid it so you can ride by all means go ahead, but epoxy isn't cheap and you'll really be upset with yourself when you have to shell out a few grand at the emergency room when it breaks again...

Alright well doesn't look like I'll be repairing it since I never made it to the store and sounds like it will be waste of my money and time like you fellas said from experience. Looks like the 750 x2 is goin out this weekend. Quick question how much should I put out to buy a rn pole?

So little update got this hull and the pole cheap to hold me over for the rest of the season has little crack but got it cheap so who cares looks like I'll be doing a chop this winter
