Super Jet Pole Shock Pad

Where do you guys place your pole shock pads? I have a stock pole with a blowsion spring and it seems to beat the hood pretty hard when I wreck or when big waves from boats hit the ski.

Just place them where the stock one is?

On hood is better imo

Personal preference. If you run hood straps, sometimes the pad gets in the way and will require a recess under the pad to run the strap. Easier yo have I stuck to the pole in that case IMO. If no hood strap or a dual strap that goes around the pad, hood is a good spot.
