Pole spring tension after shortening.

Mine settled down enough now, but now I'm freaking out about it being too short. I think it's gonna hurt my back and actually make rolls more difficult. Oh well.

Don't worry: you'll get used to it, and I can tell you that it's definitely not too short. Most people end up -5" or more once they're through messing with poles, steering and brackets. Have you ridden it on the water yet? Short poles feel WEIRD on the trailer, but much better on the water when the front of the ski is up as it always is.

My Pole Spring was really strong after i cut my pole down....

What I ended up doing was heating the spring up with a torch with the spring in the pole, then i pulled the pole down to where i wanted it to rest.....

This worked fine for me.....just heat one of the little rings.
