SX/SXi/SXi Pro Pole Wobble

Need some advice.

So my pole has a bit of side to side wiggle to it. Like if I hold the bars straight and shift my arms from side to side theres a wiggle to my pole, almost like its loose. Im wondering if my bushings are shot and need to be replaced. Any input?

is it the actual pole or is it just your turnplate wobbling around...

Try tightening the pivot bolt, little bit wobble ain't going to hurt anything,

It's the pole. Ints not the plate. 100 percent not that. I just put the new plate on. I was thinking about taking the pole out to tighten that nut, just figured I might as well replace the bushings while I was at it. Didn't know if the pole always had a bit of a wiggle to it. Fresh tightened bushings or not.

more than likly its the pivot bolt! you dont want it to loose thats how those things crack, but if not i got some extra bushing that i dont need i will send for free!

Ratboy coming through with the hook up. Yea man I'd love to take those off ur hands. Then I'll have new bushings and I can tighten that bolt. Sweet.

Mine was the same way when I got it. Blowsion sells Kawi sx/i pole pivot bushings for like $12 or something. You have to drill the hole in the pole a bit bigger to fit them, but it tightened up nicely.. I am onto a RN SJ pole now to allow me to shorten it easily..

i second that! forgot that the bushing for a stock 750 are only on the outside and dont go through the handpole! using the SXR pole bushing for UMI pole will be a great replacement for like $20! and you will have to drill out the pole hole to make it fit!

Noted. Ill replace the bushings and tighten. Hopefully that fixes it. And mess with the spring. Man its never ending. Something new keeps coming up lol.

Is there any difference in getting a oem bushing for a sxr and getting the ones from Blowsion.

yes! you have to mod the holes where the bolt goes through the pole by making them bigger!

So I can get oem sxr or the blowsion for my 92 sx and drill out the all ready slightly enlarged holes? Doing this will reduce the anoyying pole wobble.

The current pivot hole is an oval. Which should I get SXR or blowsion? It's almost ridding weather.

now that i think about it. my kawi 750 had the same problem.....used to wiggle a bit. i never did anythion about it. just got used to it

Ya mine wasn't THAT bad, but the bushings should be big enough to eliminate all that egging slop..

Wow that is bad kawishual. Mine is no where near that bad.
