+4 mil in 2 different boats, HPE 820 and dasa 950, 2 seasons so far. Only occasional salt use though

4mil HPE 830 with 2 seasons no issues.

Let me add. First 6 months of this motors life was filled with backfires, and destroyed drywall. Few PFP backflow motor lockups. And running lean as hell

During the practice season, Sunoco 110 from a drum mixed with Amsoil Dominator

My first ADR 10mm ran 20 gallons of oil with approx 200 hrs riding mostly salt and the crank and bearings seemed to be in good shape and could have probably ran a third year. I re-built topend so sent it off for a rebuild. My second ADR crank is coming up on 2 years soon.
Let's vote/hear from you guys with bad experiences.

I have a stock stroke adr in my TPE. Just crossed 350 gallons. Going to be coming out this winter for a rebuild. Was checked last winter with no signs of wear.

interesting. same fuel/oil setup I've been using in a few motors for years now. always had good luck
