Pollage about the Freedom Freeride on the Fourth Of July - Oregon

Okay folks....we need to decide when we'll do what where.
I'll be in that area (Lincoln City) from Thursday, July 3rd, to Wednesday, July 9th.
The areas we were thinking of for riding are Tierra Del Mar, because it's an easily accessible beach that's pretty nice.
Then there's the Salmon River estuary which usually has great surf conditions, with many options for different rider skills.
However, you can't get there unless you have a ski - which rules the family out.
We'd like to do a full day at Tierra and some riding at the Salmon River estuary.

Feel free to make suggestions, too. Please.

OOps, my bad, voted for all the above. I'm thinking Tierra on the 4th and stay up late, then get up late on Sat. and ride the Salmon. I figure there will be way more people on the beach friday enjoying the 4th, and perhaps the best place to watch/shoot fireworks if allowed. The morning low tide can do its thing on Saturday, and we can hit it for a few late morning. I just hope the weather cooperates and doesn't change our plans too much.

Let's make something clear....for RIDING great surf in great conditions, Salmon River is the place to go.
However, in the interest of making a family oriented freeride, we need accessibility for everyone.

Wife and I are camping up the beach from tierra, a day at the beach anywhere is a good time. The salmon is nice, but not really that much better IMO.
