I think there's a reason you don't see many around. They suck. I rode a 550 with one just for schits and giggles. You had better have a large area to turn around! It won't hardly turn...lol

I used to own one back in the 80's it was great. We had it with the rooster shooter and could ride the river with 2 of us way back before the sitdown age. The good old days 2 550s in the back of my dads station wagon and the Wedge on the roof. People called it the jet mobile since we had to put larger springs in the back to support all the weight. I used to use it to fish off my 550 or pull a water skier back when everyone was under 100 lbs.

Thats great!!! I remember the days when you could ride a whole season without breaking anything. (Stock ski) LOL!

I wish I had one of the pontoon kits for my X2. My uncle has a place on wicki watchi springs in FL. The entire river is idle speed. I bring my ski and have it towed to the gulf, and I have to borrow a boat if I want to put arround the river.

I could see it's uses. It's just too much money for something I'd use once. They made more sense back when the JS was introduced. now people just buy sitdowns.

I had something else envisioned,I had some drawings of a craft I designed using two WR500'S as the pontoons themselves with a an aluminum frame connecting the two with a bench seat or dual seats,hell what else are wr500's good for?:sneaky:
