You ever been moving 20+ miles an hour and came to a sudden stop? Not a sudden slow down, but a stop. That's the damage you get.

Yeah, I have hit sandbars off of Key Biscayne and yes..... I did stop suddenly........ but didn't crack my ski in twenty places!
It looks like Scott hit a ********ing brick wall, that's all!.

Perfect ski for flatwater freestyle....you won't feel bad abusing it if it's already destined for the dump.

already did a hull swap a few days after....

needless to say he has a 90 black SN for sale with no papers and footholds lol. otherwise we are just going to cut out the footholds and put them in the new hull.

the new hull has an oem seal. the cheapo 550 hydro turf seal actually kept water out of that black ski better than the worn out oem seal he had a year earlier....

You did that much damage just hitting a sandbar?????????:eek2:
I "almost killed" (I wonder why it did not hit the news) a family of about six of my passengers (hey, Nick, slutty, are you there, you would love it!) about 10 years ago, LMAO.
The dinghy with a 4hp outboard which I rented out for $20/day at Lake Hopatcong, NJ hit a sandbar at a hight rate of speed, which i would estimate at about 2.0-3.0 knots given the wind and the current. The results were "devastating"! The thing came to the "sudden" stop which lasted for about a minute, then cleared the sandbar. A few milk and juice bottles were spilled.
:spankme:

your buddys hood doesnt even sit on the seal in the front. tell him to get an oem seal....... and some glass and resin.

now that i look back at that again i remember putting on that seal thinking the same thing(no way will it keep water out).... and it actually sealed better on the square with the front of the seal tigh to the front of the hood like that, rather than if the hood clamped the hood seal down. his old seal just poured water in on a tight turn, let alone a sub or a stab.
