Super Jet Porting or High compression & girdled head. Where should I start?

Freestyle port, or get a girdled head? Performance difference?

Heres a thread that has some relevant info, and you should remember it. Seems like this has been answered before....

Yup, I read that through right before I posted this thread. I had different questions about power, etc. in this one. That thread was all jumbled because I had no idea what I was going to do at all. I needed more specific answers in this thread.
Just got off a 30 min phone conversation with Zack to talk about some more stuff. Basically, he came to the conclusion that I should run 35cc domes, but with pump gas, you really have to pay attention to your gas quality. If you're a little worried that you could have gotten some not true 93 octane gas(Which isn't all that rare, he was explaining all kinds of reports about the quality of gas and how it's effecting engines, and that you do need to watch out for it). Then he explained to me that if he was up north or something, and all that was available was 87 octane, he'd run it, but just remember to not go WOT otherwise you're asking for some deto. That's basically the concept between all of these super high performance engines running high compression that are designed to work with pump gas. For a freestyle ski & hull that you're never running wide open, you don't have that worry, so you can get away with pump gas & high comp as long as you never pin it. He also compared it to a friend of his' sxr, that runs race gas on the buoys, and then pump gas out in the surf in lake michigan.
I asked him what he thought of me running 1 gallon of av gas to 4 gallons of "supposedly" 93 octane pump gas, and he said that would be an excellent idea! Basically, the only risk with upping compression is deto with fuel quality, which you risk when running pump gas. Always interesting to hear what he has to say, and I'm a little surprised he recommended 35cc domes, but he's smarter than me on this subject obviously.

I honestly couldn't compare the head mod to a prop because I've never ridden a ski with a stock prop. I would think next to a good prop a milled head is the best bang for the buck. Having the head milled is like $100. Just spend the 100 on your head and save the rest for gas and oil.
A flywheel is a good way to get more snap, but that's not what this thread is about.
Oh, and I asked Zack about lightened flywheels and he said that would be a good mod to do too :p

I prefer 91 octane non ethanol fuel to the 93 ethanol. I also run a mix of 4 gal 91 to 1 gal of vp113. And I beat the hell out of the blaster......
here is a head non girdled
