650/X-2 Post your 650sx pics

The only thing that's diff about it is getting up because you can't use your elbows on the bucket to get up. Besides that it's the best handling 650 I've ridden. You can rail it way harder because you can have a wider stance. I have a west coast ride plate and a top loader intake. That ride plate with the skegs help a but because of your stance you can dig in pretty good. I want to go take it to the ocean but I hate the salt water. It's no lighter cutting off the back you put on almost as much fiberglass and resin to patch the holes. Best 650 I've ridden so far.

I am still learning pretty much I just got into jetski's last spring...at the end of the season (sept. here in pa) I could sub, flatwater 180 and 360. My 650 it has a westcoast exhaust, west coast ride plate, and the motor is bore so I dont think im to limited. I put lifter wedges on and I hope to learn barrel rolls and back flips. I mostly ride in freshwater and only it hit 2 to 3 foot boat wakes but I was jumping 5 to 6 foot waves when I went out in the ocean but was a little nevrous about trying a barrel roll or back flip.

Actualy the ski was ordered this way and we built it for the guy....

It sold for $ 2,000 , but the paint job was worth 80% of it......different strokes for different folks

more 650's built

My first ski

I bought this ski last week, its my first stand up so I am excited to get my feet wet LOL. I live in the Keys so having something to get on the water is a like having a car "a must"LOL\

My 650sx custom chopped hull

This is my 650sx with a custom hull... this is how I bought it.

2012-07-03_20-40-02_867.jpg

It has quite a few mods too but like I said I bought it how it is so I am not even sure what all is done to it but this is what I know:

Mariner high compression head
Mikuni SBN44 carb
West Coast Flame Arrestor
Aftermarket pipe and waterbox (not sure of the brand)
Intake grate and ride plate
Dual Cooling

sadly the pipe connecting the waterbox to the exhaust outlet in the hull came off while I was riding last weekend and it started to sink and the hull filled with water, filling the engine too..... so I just pulled the engine to see what kind of damage I have done:banghead:

this is my first standup and im new to the site so any suggestions on how to bring her back into good, running condition would be much appreciated!

Some nice 650s, I've had two in the last year, rode one of them once and then parted them both out. They make a good starter ski.
