The only thing that's diff about it is getting up because you can't use your elbows on the bucket to get up. Besides that it's the best handling 650 I've ridden. You can rail it way harder because you can have a wider stance. I have a west coast ride plate and a top loader intake. That ride plate with the skegs help a but because of your stance you can dig in pretty good. I want to go take it to the ocean but I hate the salt water. It's no lighter cutting off the back you put on almost as much fiberglass and resin to patch the holes. Best 650 I've ridden so far.
