Hey all, I haven't seen any posts regarding camera gear here, just the end result! So let's see it! What's your preferred shooting method? On my ski/helmet I use my GoPro and I just finished this Aerial setup to test out at the Lake Perris event next month!

GoPro Hero 3 Silver
Dual Battery Tray
5.8Ghz FPV Transmitter (to see a live GoPro shot on a 7" LCD Monitor)
P2 Carbon Fiber Props
Taller landing skids

I just put a set of motor extensions on last night as well, and will be throwing a set of 11" props on it soon for better lift/longer flight.

Currently building another larger quad for extended duration flights, upwards of 30 minutes.

I'll have some up this week from the Maui trip. Got some nice shots over Haleakala Volcano, Black Sand Beach, Koki Beach, and a few other areas.

Thing looks awesome! How much money do you have into that quadcopter?

I could try to do a quick total, but probably in the neighborhood of $500. I did buy the thing used originally for about $350 from a friend who wanted it gone. Here is a (blurry) image of it when I got it.

I will probably be selling it soon though as I don't have a need for two of them.

Sweet! Here is one I shot at Haleakala Volcano on Maui last month. You'll have to forgive the shaking in the video, I was at nearly 12,000 ft elevation and literally got 3 min of flight time per battery lol.
