Christain, the Circus hull that is in that video weighed in at 70lbs ready to bolt in parts - that's light, but no means a feather for todays standards of carbon hulls. I thought I remember hearing most kdx's are in the 40lbs's to 50lbs's ready to bolt in parts. But you are correct, if you have lesser supporting parts performance would suffer. If you buy a big billet engine and decide you are going to run a set of oem 46's (which are actually only a little over 40mm at the venturi) power is being left on the table vs. a set of true bore 48's...same as running a charging ignition vs. a total loss. That being said, we wanted to show how our 900cc engine package performs with what is generally the accepted flat water package. That includes Power Factor, 48mm carbs, Total loss, and 148 or bigger mag pump.Okai fair enough, how much does a complete PHP 4mm short block set you back? just seems like alot of people are claiming they got much better deals than xxx or xxx. IMO i think it seems better just to let the product talk for it self
Btw isnt that a cricurs freak hull, at around 9500usd ? and a 148mm billet pump i really not trying to be a duche here or discuss it to death, but some time some people forget, that behind that smaller engine, is a freaking light, small and expensive hull. I would love to try the diffrent engines in equel setups (hull, pump, carb, ignition ect) to feel the real diffrence between all these nice engines that are out Really envy that riding spot and that sweet circus freak! For whoever has any doubt about these motors,,, they HIT HARD!!! I wouldn't even consider the motor to have a power band, only because it always seems to be in it. I putted around the pond to git the feel for it, and when I popped the throttle just to give it a little hop..... I flew out of water not realizing the power from the low and all throughout the RPM range and had to respect the power that (Freak) from the House delivers!
How big is that pond?
Can't wait to bring it the Backie Chan out there!
I'm so ing pumped to have Joe riding a chan......can wait to see what he does with it and happy about the php motor!!!!!
