I had some water get into my electronics box. I have a total loss ignition with a Zeeltronic. It seems to kill batteries while sitting in my garage and it also seems to ruin the battery as it will no longer charge back up. Do I need a new Zeel? Thanks for any ideas.
First place to start would be your starter solenoid? use a multi meter to see if it has any voltage leaks.
all zeel cdi has a very minimal power draw When dormant. (0.35v +/-) again, ck with multimeter if its excessive in your case?
please describe “sitting in garage” Couple days, weeks, months?
also ck all grounds ? If carbon hull? Make sure all mounted components are isolated from hull/carbon.
carbon is a conductor and is known to cause electrical issues. I have never seen what your describing as an issue with any zeel cdi?
but that doesnt mean its not possible? Please keep me posted as to what you find.
