powerfactor....dasa

Anyone have any experience with either one? Any thoughts or opinions? I have been checking out the power factor 1100, but also looking at dasa. Checking out all my options.

I am looking at the 16 mm stroker with 89's wondering if that comes in half bores. Overall reliability with a big bore motor.

I bumped a thread in the driveline section about 16MM reliability if you want to read it.

DASA's 89-91 pistons do come in .5 MM sizes. 89-89.5-90-90.5-91MM.

DASA recommends all of our rec engines to have the top ends INSPECTED every 50 hours and the bottom ends every 100 hours.

Race engines about 35 on the top and 75 on the bottom.

Now I want to stress this is for INSPECTION only.

Dan says 7500 RPM is safe for the 16MM engine in short bursts and 6500 RPMS will still be OK for WOT runs. WOT is not really applicable for freestyle, but nonetheless.

i have been running dasa motors for the last 3 years... (stock stroke, 5 mil, and 10 mil) I couldnt be happier with the quality or the customer service

Thanks for the reply. As for WOT, this is a strict flatwater freestyle build.

Billet cases are the ultimate and I agree, anyone thinking about running anything over a 10mm stroker would be foolish to not invest in a set of these cases.

i have had experience both , the powerfactor you get what you pay for it is probably the most expensive powerplant but ihave never ridden anything with as much power and i think everyone out there who has ridden will agree lenzi so forth.
But dasa has a great package out there for most riders out there looking for huge power at a more affordable price and most riders in the world dont even need the power that either can yield .
