I want to run another engine that's step for can pipe just to see how it does in the hull. However right now I have a powerfactor waterbox in place where the battery would be on a sj if I wrapped a hose around the nose into the powerfactor box would that cause any issues vs it not going directly into the waterbox like on a stock setup

I am gonna go out on a limb and say as long as the water and exhaust flow freely to the waterbox your good. Stock sj exhaust hose has bends in it . Considering the purpose of the waterbox is to create back pressure and muffle sound i dunno how else to help out or if i am on track to answer your question......good luck.
