I'm curious how many people are running PowerHouse Performance motors in their skis and what they think of them. If your running one of these motors please post a pic here. This is Zach's old Superfreak Badass.

I will be running a PHP 898 motor in my ski this year!...it is hands down the biggest bang for the buck!

I have 1 no pics in ski as of now my ski is being assembled. As for my opinion of the motor very linear. Kind of an oem feel to it no spikes in power no dips in power. I will saying was disappointed in what a 5,000.00 motor feels like even in a carbon hull. But to php's credit I want running a mag pump last year and will be this year. And Zach's offered to take a look at my ski several times. Very cool. In final I would have to say if I could do it all over again I would skip the high dollar stuff and would go with a ported 701-760 motor.

This motor was not tuned by us and by not having the mag pump is a huge factor as well. My ski was very limited trying to run a stock 155 pump like you were. The mag made a world of difference! A stock 144 worked much better than the stock 155.

You also had standard weight crank and pistons, correct?

Marcgraham27 what bolt ons are you running with your 760 and what is the power kinda like on it compared to other motors? Hoping after I get my new Hurricane hull in January to have the money together by spring to order one.

Bpipe, Single ATP carb, Epic, solas mag 11/17... I'm very impressed with it, with that set up i can 180 to flip and ride away. stab in set up wake flips ( need more skill to get the last bit of rotation), roll.. pretty much everything but with using a little more trim so speed up my rotation due to it being a smaller motor.. I'm gonna put TL and Novi's on it over the winter and see how that works.. its hard to say how it compares to other motors just with so many different motors and tuning aspects out there.. i have been on a few dasa 850's that where very close to the same power.

Thanks for all the positive feedback guys! I'm out of thanks but appreciate all the kind words! Its hard for a new company like PHP to compete against all the big motor guys like Dasa and Xscream but from what I have personally ridden that's out there I can say that the 898 is a beast and service from Zack is second to none. There have been countless nights out in the shop where we would be working on stuff and Zack's phone would ring and he would be gone for an hour talking and come back in and be excited explaining to us how he just was talking with whatever customer it was and how he coached them along with an install or timing setup or prop pitch and the list goes on......

We appreciate all the business and try our hardest to make the best products we can along with service that we had wanted when we first got into the sport. Thanks again guys!
