Pre cut hydroturf freestyle kit with non wamilton footholds?

I was wondering if anyone has used that "Freestyle" pre cut kit for footholds from hydroturf? It says it was made for wamiltons footholds but my watercraft factory footholds look to be about the same. Has anyone tried this?

Just buy a sheet and make the templates and do it yourself. Then you can custom tailor the foothold padding and tray wedge to whatever you want. And if you mess it up... You've got more to play with. Two sheets of B stock is cheaper than a precut mat kit.

Thats what someone told me but i just went on the site and they have it, only in like 2 color choices, plus the price difference isnt much from a regular sheet

definitely just buy the sheet and cut it yourself. make sure to have plenty of brand new razor blades around, original red can dap weldwood and a good heat gun. heat gun is not an option but a necessity especially with footholds. if you really take your time with it and use the heat gun which helps it form to the surface youre bonding to, you can use one large piece for each gunwale with no cuts, not even the cut at the top rear corner. ive seen it done and it was the cleanest turf job ive ever seen, he said hes never had it peel up either. unless you need turf now i would also wait until the off season when youre not really wanting to ride and can take time to do it right as well as let it cure completely before getting wet.
