So what’s the preferred 155 pump shoe people are rocking in the new am builds?
I use a b2 Oem but open to changing it up if the quality is there. It used to be jd155 people used right

I was going to use a JD in a ski I am building but was told the RRP was nicer quality and fit nicely without much modification needed, less than the JD apparently. I will get mine in next week hopefully and be able to judge. The JD on my DVX is fine so I am curious as to what makes this one so much nicer

From what I've seen, nobody makes a high quality pump shoe. I have an RRP and it is visibly warped. I got it from a very reputable seller and he checked all of the rrp shoes he had in stock and they were all warped about the same as mine. It works fine, the pump seal is able to function on the warped surface, and I had minimal grinding to fit on my hull, but I wouldn't describe the part as high quality. I have not personally owned a JD shoe but they appear to be similar, and from what I've heard they usually require more grinding to fit.

The RRP is cast, but it does have some machining to hollow out some areas to save a little weight. General concensus seems to be the RRP shoe typically fits better than the JD, but I can't personally confirm that.
