Anybody know what happened to his 24/7 Hull, never saw any pics of it......
It would be interesting to know the full story
I spoke with Ant a lot this past weekend. He told me that the 24/7 engine blew up and the hull blew to pieces a short time after. Pretty much it was to much of a hassle to have them send another one he told me.... He rode the EME at finals and he only rode it EIGHT times!!! I know from personal experience.... the EME ski takes time to get used to, it is COMPLETELY different from any other ski!! If he did good in pro Malone was going to give him a sponsorship.... if not... he had to go home and ride on a stock hull/ underpowered engine.
Did anyone see Mark from 24/7 there? He doesn't answer his phone so I'm hoping that he was just busy with WF's.
I saw some chinpads and footholds in LegDrag's booth and a hood on Bogey's hull, but Mark was nowhere to be found to the best of my knowledge...
On a side note, I really like that LegDrag dude. Kevin hooked me up with some Kenney Keepers for a great price. I coulda' walked across the alley and got 'em, but Kevin had them in Red and all Blowsion had them in were blue. I did however score some other schwag (throttle drum, Red bow eye, etc) from the Blowsion crew.
also.. havent heard much talk of mex rager...

Like what happen with Ant.. I guess if your motor blows up, you cant ride. Sounds familiar.. :laughing:
Yup, funny Ants Main Sponsor backed out on him a while back...... Motor went boom, and his lightweight hull delaminated, cracked, came apart (something along those lines) Would make me scared to run any of his parts.
Why was Parr not riding his LPW ski ?
Parr never had an LPW ski, He does own an OEM Hull with LPW Powered Lamey. He did have Chicks LPW Lamey motor in a watercraft factory hull, but felt he had a better chance competing on the X-Scream hull with 1000cc motor. Looks like it may have been a bad choice but who knows, the WCF hull could have failed on him, hood fly off, Motor mess up, carb linkage come loose, Prop come loose, steering cable brake, battery fail............. you never know, you make your choices and you go on........
How come ratti did not compete on biger ski if everyone else was ?
They were teching the top riders, the X Scream would have been illegal, Pat does not roll that way.....But he could have done a quick engine transplant and used the hull.
looks like I am going to have to go next year and then go to surfslam !
