Hey X-members,
So I have a 98 SXI Pro that I recently put a new top-end in. While I was disassembling the motor, the intake manifold fell off in two pieces.
I ordered up the following intake manifold off of Ebay (I know, not the best idea) and this specific manifold was claimed to fit my year and model. Turns out that the carbs do NOT line up and I am still currently in a rut.
Can I drill it or modify it? I feel like it will just break under any load from the bolts if I drill this specific manifold...
Any ideas? Here are some pics explaining what is wrong. All of the pictures are of the incorrect manifold... :kabong:
