Give ProTec a call. I think they have only a "half-girdle" kit (if that's what you are talking about).
I think it's on the intake side, so your pipe should be fine (if the head has a mounting spot for it)

Exhaust side would be my guess....but I think the head mount pipe still works.
Give them a call....they're pretty good about info.

Yeppers, the "half" girdle kit is on the opposite side from the exhaust,,reason being is that the base material at the bolt down points on the base of the intake cylinder side are about half as "beefy" as the exhaust side..(take a look)
Pro-tec, (and others) realized like everyone else was if they were going to sell a Heavy pipe that weighed a ton they would have to do something about the Cylinder base..hence the Half girdle. Others came out with full girdles...
Don't knock it though,,had one on my ski's for years,

I will shoot you guy's some pics,
This is a good kit if you get it cheap, I have always run a "b" pipe on mine and it's more insurance than anything else to reinforce your cylinder base mounting points....

All the cylinders i have seen crack were above the rear mounting tab area.

My ported cylinder with a b pipe cracked there and I had it welded and then installed the pro-tec girdle kit and never had a problem again(8 years).

Good to see you Kskipper! Come by more often!
